3 New MTB Trails
New Trails. New Map.
Expansion of the Bike Park continues with the addition of 3 new trails. Lower Roundhouse and Crossbuck are slated to join the lineup of blue-square technical trails, and Torpedo will be introduced as the second black diamond technical trail. This past fall, trail crews got a jump start on Lower Roundhouse and it's expected to be completed mid-summer. Crossbuck and Torpedo are expected to be completed in the fall. These new trails will add an additional 1.5 miles of intermediate and advanced technical terrain, bringing the bike park up to over 14 miles of trail. Check out the updated map here.
Trail work is underway. The crew is out on the mountain cleaning drainages, repairing berms and prepping the trails for the season kick-off on May 25. They'll first focus on getting Mainline and Lowline dialed in, then move on to other trails of the network.
Reopening May 25
The Bike Park and Gondola Skyride will be opening for summer operations on May 25.
Main Street Fire Fund
Were digging in for a final push. Any donation received May 14-17 will be matched by the Loon Mountain Area Community Fund, up to $10,000 in total. This is in addition to the original $10,000 already committed. Details Here.
Kids Rip Bike Camp
Your kid's summer just went to 100. Geared to beginner riders ages 8-13, these 5-day, mixed-adventure camps will give your kid foundational skills to progress, and they'll have a blast. Registration and camp details here.
New Lift Announcement
Loon, in partnership with RiverWalk Resort and South Peak Resort, will build a new pulse-movement gondola lift beginning spring 2025. Get all the details here.
